PLAYWRIGHT:
Seth Beaugh is a playwright, screenwriter, and arts administrator based in Austin, TX. Originally from Southeast Texas, his work has been produced by ScriptWorks, he's been nominated for a B. Iden Payne Award, and he is currently under commission from La Femme Theatre Productions. He is a member of ScriptWorks and the Dramatists Guild of America and received his B.A. in English and B.S. in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Texas at Austin. |

Esther Park (SELENA IN REAL LIFE) is a fourth-year BFA Acting student at the University of Texas at Austin. Recently, she earned a B. Iden Payne nomination for her impactful portrayal of Wang Min in Caught (2023) at Hyde Park Theater. With a strong foundation in both classical and contemporary theater, Esther brings a versatile and dynamic approach to her work. Her ongoing training and dedication to her craft continue to shape her into a promising talent in the Austin theater community.
Johann Solo (DAEMON IN REAL LIFE) is an Austin, TX based actor, sound designer/engineer, and music producer. He has designed and composed for the past 6 years and recently finished music composition and sound design for Clyde’s at Ground Floor Theatre, and Sunny Days at The Vortex Theatre. Johann Solo is also the founder of the Austin based music group YOSO Collective. Along with producing and performing their own music and shows, YOSO aims to support artists in their vision.
Chiara McCarty (SELENA IN TEXT) is an actress and aspiring director originally from Ortona, Italy. She is thrilled to be working with The Filigree Theatre for the first time! Austin stage credits include Honey in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (City Theatre), Logan in The Thanksgiving Play (Different Stages at The Vortex), Nora in the world premiere of Trade With Klan (Southwest Theatre Productions), and Sister James in Doubt (Hill Country Community Theatre). You can catch Chiara on Tubi as Molly in the quirky indie dark comedy What About Molly? and on Amazon Prime as Cleo in the filmed stage performance of Kill All Politicians. Her directorial debut is the award winning short film Shame Full. Chiara would like to thank her husband for his constant love and support.
Michael Mendez (DAEMON IN TEXT) is a native Austinite who returned back home after studying Media and Screen Studies & Theatre at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. In his free time he likes to watch movies, write for theatre and the screen, and filmmaking within the Austin community as a writer/ director and occasional actor. Michael is looking forward to moving to Los Angeles in the new year to pursue filmmaking as a writer, actor and director.
Tori Rose (STAGE DIRECTIONS) is a versatile actress and production designer, known for her dynamic contributions to television, stage, and film. With a keen eye for visual storytelling, she creates immersive environments that enhance the narrative experience and some recent projects include a project with Ford/Apartment Therapy and The Weedhacker Massacre. She has worked with Filigree Theater since 2022 and is excited to be reading the stage directions and running front of house tonight.
Mary Vo (Thank you!) is an emerging stage performer based in Austin, with credits as understudy and assistant director for Hyde Park Theatre's 2023 production of Caught. Primarily trained in improv and sketch comedy, she has performed with Austin-based troupe Y'all We Asian and more recently associate produced Everything You Wanted To Know About White Supremacy at ColdTowne Theater in May 2024. Outside of performing, she delights in making pottery, bouldering, and crocheting sweaters.

Maddy Lamb (Associate Producer) is excited to be working on Stage One: Gulf with The Filigree Theatre. Maddy is a freelance costume designer, stage manager, and wardrobe supervisor in Austin, Texas. She graduated from Southwestern University with a BA in Technical Theatre with a focus in Costume Design and Stage Management. Recent shows:Suddenly Last Summer (The Filigree Theatre), Sunny days(The Vortex), Above the Fold (The Filigree Theatre) Undark (the Vortex), Photograph 51 (The Filigree Theatre), Paquito y Abuelito (Scottish Rite Theatre), Mousetrap (Georgetown Palace Theatre), The Memo (The Vortex), Dragonfly Princess (The Vortex).
